Mr. Golden Sun

hehe
Today was an excellent day. I slept until 11 and then went to the beach with a bunch of Germans. I taught them the Mr. Golden Sun song because the clouds were blocking the sun, though I was very content to be on the beach without turning tomato red. Two of my Germans and I left to go wine tasting. Our first stop was the vineyard that owns the restaurant I work at, and all three of us were treated to a free wine tasting since I'm an employee. Gotta love free stuff. Next stop was Cable Bay, situated on a hill looking out over the water.

After wine tasting round two, which we enjoyed on bean bag chairs and with a gorgeous cheese platter, I had to go to work. All of us staff were expecting a nice, quiet Monday night, but it ended up being insanely busy, with only three waitstaff to do everything. I was on my game though and had a ton of fun. I really do love my job. The highlight of my night was a fairly macho-looking guy who told me to make him something girly...his words, not mine. I made the first cocktail of my life, a made-up cosmo recipe that he very much enjoyed. Great job, Amanda.

That's pretty much been my life these past few weeks...work, wine, and Germans. Life is good :)
