Hello! Long time no talk. Up until now everything's been the same...working around the house for four hours every day, hanging out at the hostel at night, making foreign friends, getting sunburnt. I even went wine tasting with my friend Hermann the German one day at the local winery, Casita Miro.
My work has almost exclusively consisted of weeding, though one day I got to build a compost pile. Sounds exciting, right? Wrong. I basically moved sticks from one place to another. Eventually it will nourish a lovely garden, so at least the fruits of my labor will be enjoyed (pun intended).

| Ohhh yeah, what a beauty |
The draught persists, though, and apparently Thomas and Kristin like being hydrated better than they like me. I'm moving to a house with a bunch of other travellers right on the beach, which isn't as free but will nonetheless be a great place to live. I'm also looking for a job on the island, and after a day of searching I've come across two prospective employers that seem somewhat promising: a local vineyard that has a reputation of hiring pretty girls and a health food store downtown. Cross your fingers that someone will want to hire me! If I do get a job I'll stay here for the next two months, making moneys and being all grown up.
Ending this post with a pretty picture. Hope everyone has a lovely day :)
Enjoy your time in NZ!!
