Farewell, Waiheke

For those of you who didn't believe I could be a waitress, here's me being a waitress...


Me and Court, my roommate and coworker and (occasionally) chauffeur, standing in front of the bar that I often tended. 

Lesley, my manager, and Court. Behind are the bathrooms that constantly confuse the locals because the door is labeled "bathrooms," but here they say "toilet" instead of "bathrooms."

Here's the kitchen where all the magic happens...and all the yelling, cursing, burning smells, and chaos.


I've officially left Waiheke, at least for now, and am back where I started in Manly. I realized a few hours ago that Fabian, my friend who's soon to arrive, gets here a day later than I originally thought. Whoops. So I have an extra day to chill out or bake cakes or whatever before the games begin. 
Here's a sneak peak of where we'll be heading first, Mount Manganui...
