Once Upon a Time...Part 1

There were two ginger kids, Fabian and Amanda, who set off on an epic journey. They awoke to violent winds and pounding rain on the roof of the cottage, but they set off nonetheless to retrieve their elegant white rent-a-stallion. The White Stallion bravely bolted through the storm, along a winding coast to the terribly tame town of Thames. In search of some entertainment, the two adventurers were disappointed to learn that the whole ghastly town ceases operation on Mondays, the exact day that they had chosen to visit.

After a wee nibble on some bread and jam, Fabes and Amanda remounted the White Stallion and galloped through the most remote areas of the mystical land far far away.

The rain persisted, the travelers persevered, the the White Stallion ever-gracefully navigated through the winding roads until they reached Tauranga. 

Our story resumes the next morning, when Fabian and Amanda departed the cabin to hike Mount Manganui, or "mount the mount." Clear skies and a smiling sun allowed for magical views of the sparkling sea. (To be continued in part 2)
